Hi Evie! Magic Kingdom Park is a great place to spend Christmas Day! The holiday décor, especially along Main Street, U.S.A. will have you in the Christmas spirit! I’m going to offer a few Christmas Day tips, but let’s get to your question first!
A special ticket is not required to enter the Disney Parks on Christmas Day. Your regular theme park admission ticket is all you need to enter the parks, including Magic Kingdom Park! So, your seven-day ticket will allow you to access the parks!
I have a few special tips for you, Evie! First, if your ticket requires
theme park reservations, be sure to make your reservation for Magic Kingdom Park. That is the most popular park on Christmas Day. You’ll want to make a theme park reservation for that park if your ticket requires reservations.
Next, as I mentioned, Magic Kingdom Park is very popular on Christmas Day. The parks can reach capacity. If the park reaches capacity, and you haven’t entered the park, you could be denied entry. So, a good strategy on Christmas Day is to enter the park at park opening and plan on spending your whole day there. If you leave the park and want to re-enter later, you could be denied access if the park reaches capacity.
You are in for a special treat! The entertainment that is usually reserved for the special-ticketed
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (November 8 through December 20, 2024) becomes a part of the regular theme park hours entertainment during Christmas week! That means you’ll get to see Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks show, and other holiday entertainment during your visit to Magic Kingdom Park!
Dreams do come true!
