I booked our 1st Disney vacation for September! We have a 4 day pass. Is it worth using a day at Epcot just so my daughter,5, can do the princess character dinner at Akerhaus? I've heard there's not much for kids at Epcot? Do you feel it's worth it? Thx!

Hi Dawn! I can understand how hard it is to decide how to use a four day park ticket especially if you don't have the park hopper option. The Akershus Princess dining experience is one of the best places to meet and greet so many at one location.

I have a six year old grandson who actually says Epcot is his favorite park. He could spend hours in Innoventions and loves practicing his fire escape routine as well saving money in the piggy bank experience. Last year he was tall enough to enjoy Soarin and recently braved Test Track. ( He is not a roller coaster fan.)  Turtle Talk with Crush in the Seas Pavilion is a must and all kids love the Imagination ride. Beyond that he loves the boat ride in the Land, the Nemo ride, and Spaceship Earth. In the World Showcase kids can travel from country to country enjoying the Kidcot arts and crafts activities. Don't forget the tranquil boat ride in Mexico for a short rest along the way.

You can also leave the park via the International Gateway and explore the Boardwalk area which is just a five minute walk.  You can re-enter at the same location. If you can stay long enough for the great Illuminations show at 9pm each night. If you have an opening for a dinner consider the Garden Grill Chip and Dale character dining at the Land.

Our family finds a multitude of activities in Epcot. I say if your daughter wants to meet as many princesses as possible then take a day and spend it in this park with the highlight being an Akershus dining experience.
