Hello Stephanie! A very warm welcome back to planDisney! I'm so excited for your upcoming visit to the Happiest Place on Earth and the magic in store for you and your little birthday boy!
You are correct - once your little Mouseketeer turns three years old, he'll need his very own theme park ticket (and
park reservation) to enter the parks. You could buy his tickets ahead of time on the
Disneyland website or in person at a ticket booth near the park entrances. Since you have a
Disneyland Vacation Package, I would reach out to a Cast Member by
giving them a call to see what your options are. I hope that helps!
Tip: Guests under the age of three eat free at all
Character Dining locations in Disneyland so I recommend making your dining reservations for earlier on in your trip, before the Big 3 Birthday! Don't forget to add your prince on the Guest count, however, as you'll want a royal seat waiting for him!
Oh boy! If your two-going-on-three-year-old is anything like mine was, meeting Disney Pals, watching parades, and enjoying sweet treats will be the highlight of his visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. Your darling one is going to love it - and seeing the magic through his eyes?! I'm pretty sure you're going to love it too.
I hope this has been helpful to you in your planning, Stephanie, and that you and your sweet one have so much fun immersed in the Disneyland magic. I'm so thrilled for you both to experience this magical place together - just as Walt intended. Say "hi" to Mickey for me!
Warmest wishes,
McCayla
