Hi there, Emily!
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question. I'm so happy to hear you're in the planning stages of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. A magical getaway is on the horizon!
When you book your vacation directly with Walt Disney World, you have the option to have it transferred to an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner if it's 1) not paid in full, and 2) booked less than 30 days ago. Depending on your travel dates, and if you booked under a promotion, there's a possibility that working with a Disney Vacation Planner could save you some money if you were to rebook with them. It wouldn't hurt to consult an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner just to see if canceling and rebooking would be an option for you, taking your travel dates and plans into consideration. Your deposit should still be refundable on your original booking if you're not traveling in less than 30 days.
I highly recommend using an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner, especially as travel looks a little different as Walt Disney World
Returns to a World of Magic. These Disney specialists can help you choose your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, purchase
Theme Park Tickets, secure
Disney Park Pass reservations, make
Advance Dining Reservations, and more. They'll monitor your reservation for any discounts or offers that can be applied to save you money. An Authorized Disney Vacation Planner is pretty much a one-stop-Disney-vacation-shop, and the best part is that their services come at
no extra cost to you than if you'd booked it yourself. A simple Google search can help you locate a pixie-dusted planner near you. It's also a good idea to ask for recommendations from friends when it comes to choosing a Disney Vacation Planner - there's nothing like a satisfied customer!
I hope this helps with your planning! I encourage you to follow
