We booked Disney vacation for December 10-16 with the dining plan, tickets to the MVMCP for the 11 & 5 day park hopper passes. We were planning to be in MK for the day on the 11 using our park hopper then the holiday passes. Am I wasting a hopper day?

    Hi Kelly!!!

You have selected a wonderful time of the year to visit the Walt Disney World Resort!!!  I love getting to experience all the various Christmas decorations and specials events that are offered!!  That includes getting to go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!!!

I definitely do not think you are wasting a day by visiting the Magic Kingdom using your Park Hopper Tickets.  A regular day at the Magic Kingdom offers totally different experiences than Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party does and vice versa.  The one thing I would suggest is not to visit the Magic Kingdom during the morning or early afternoon of the night that you have the party.  It just may feel like you spent too much time in one park.  I am a huge fan of visiting multiple parks in one day.  Even if you did go to the Magic Kingdom that morning, I would recommend hopping to another theme park around lunch for a few hours before you head back to the Magic Kingdom for the party.

I hope this helps!!  Please let me know if you have any other questions!!

    Have a magical day!!
