Booked our Disney vacation 115 days out (we are going mid sept 2012). I can't seem to get any charcater dinning's for the 6 days were there. Is there a waiting/cancelation list that i can get on. Disappointed if my kids can't have a breakfast with mickey

Of course you want to meet Mickey while eating Mickey waffles!

Popular character dining experiences such as Chef Mickey's and Cinderella's Royal Table do fill quickly, but reservations can be snagged after the magic 180 day mark. There is no waiting list so you will have to be tenacious about checking to see if spots have opened up.

I have been successful several times getting reservations close to our arrival date. Be willing to accept any available time and check frequently. Consider less popular restaurants such as Cape May Cafe. Try dinner instead of breakfast at Mickey's Backyard BBQ. Most character meals have to be cancelled at least a day ahead to avoid no show charges so continue to try for a reservation even after you arrive. Guests often wait until the last day or two to cancel so spots do open up as close as one day in advance.

Wishing you a delicious meal with Mickey and friends!
