Hi Kelly,
I always love it when I spot a magical piece of mail in my mailbox sent directly from Mickey and his pals, don't you? I especially love that kind of mail when it means my Walt Disney World Resort vacation is coming up.
I'm happy to try and help you with your question about what to expect in the mail when you book your Walt Disney World Resort vacation package.
I think the best tip I can share, Kelly, is that most all the key info you'll need will likely come in email. You'll want to be sure you have what you need to confirm your Resort hotel reservations, confirm your theme park tickets, and make your theme park reservations.
Let's start by talking about your Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets.
If you selected to receive your Walt Disney World theme park tickets by mail, it typically takes about 14 days for the tickets to be delivered. You might have seen a choice to select express delivery for an additional fee, and that would have given you an option to receive tickets (typically via UPS) after about four days. If you opted for your tickets to be sent to you, and you think they have not arrived in the expected timeframe, you can
email the ticket inquiries team or call them at (407) 566-4985.
If your delivery choice for your tickets was "Will Call," then you should have received an email with a confirmation number. You can use that confirmation number to
link your theme park tickets to your Disney account.
If you booked a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package, you should have received an email with a confirmation number. Just as with tickets, you can use that confirmation number to
link your vacation package to your Disney account. All your vacation package plans should then be linked to your Disney account.
Once you have your Resort hotel reservation and theme park tickets linked to your Disney account, you'll want to be sure to
make your theme park reservations.
Kelly, one of the fun perks of booking a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package is the
Magical Extras Savings Card that brings you discounts on shopping and dining and special offers for entertainment like miniature golf. You can typically pick up your Magical Extras Savings Card at the Front Desk of your Resort hotel when you arrive.
I think the key tip to share, Kelly, is to sign in to your
My Disney Experience account on the web or use the My Disney Experience Mobile App to check your Resort hotel plans, theme park tickets, and theme park reservations. If you are having questions about what you're seeing or not seeing, I encourage you to reach out to the Walt Disney Travel Company at (407) 939-7675.
Kelly, you have so much magic ahead of you for your vacation. If planDisney can help in any way with suggestions, just let us know.
Enjoy all the magic at your Disney destination!
Jerry
