I just booked a Disney trip for the week of 4th of July. By now anything with a fireworks view is booked up already! I don't see any dates yet for 'Celebration at the Top' for the 3rd or 4th. Do I have a chance? Any tips? Thanks!

    Hi Alison!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by with such a great question.

Last year I was finally able to experience Independence Day at the Walt Disney World Resort with a fantastic group of fellow Moms Panelists. I have to say that it surpassed every expectation I had. I was blown away by Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky at Magic Kingdom Park. This was the most spectacular fireworks show I’ve ever seen!

While right now you may not see availability for Resort hotel rooms with Theme Park views, I suggest that you check back often! I’ve found that people do cancel or change their reservations, and that may open an opportunity for you to change your reservation for that spectacular view!

Some of my favorite dining locations include Theme Park views. You can attempt to secure advanced dining reservations at California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort or ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, which offers partial Magic Kingdom park views. Last year, Celebration at the Top – Savor, Sip, and Sparkle was offered on both July 3 & July 4. It doesn’t look at this is open for booking currently, but continue to check back often!

While details are not yet available for this year’s events to celebrate the Fourth of July at Walt Disney World Resort, make sure you keep your eyes peeled to the Disney Parks Blog! They will keep you up to date on the latest and most exciting offerings and announcements!

I hope that you enjoy celebrating at the Walt Disney World Resort as much as I did!
