Hi there, Andres!
You have quite the adventure coming up soon! Walt Disney World Resort during the month of October is unlike any other time of the year, and if you're lucky, the Florida weather will be a bit cooler as well. Mickey Mouse definitely puts on a great show for his beloved Guests! You'll be surrounded by warm, autumn decorations and maybe even eat special holiday treats.
I double-checked the dates for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and it looks like there is a party on October 19 and 20, but not on October 18. So, your plan to visit Magic Kingdom Park may be totally unaffected. Either way, I am more than happy to still give you information about what happens if you visit on a party day without having a ticket for the spooktacular event.
As the night falls, the Ghost Host, an announcer over a speaker, will remind Guests that the park will soon close and to make way for the separately ticketed event. Guests who have tickets for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are given a themed wristband that indicates their purchase and participation. From my experience, any Guest without a wristband will be politely asked to exit the theme park when the park closes.
But have no fear about the earlier than usual closure! There is a major positive about visiting Magic Kingdom Park on a Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party day. Because the theme park closes earlier, many Guests choose another destination for the day. This means that (usually) the queues for attractions are a bit shorter and Magic Kingdom Park feels less crowded.
AN EXTRA GEM: Because you're staying at
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, remember to take advantage of
Early Theme Park Entry. This is the best way to maximize your time any day of your vacation, especially on days with shorter park hours.
Andres, I hope that you have the most magical vacation in October. If you have any other questions or want more suggestions,

Magic always,
LeAndra
