Hi! We have booked Disney transportation from the airport to Port Canaveral and back for our next cruise in 2018. What time is the earliest bus leaving Orlando Airport? Also, what is the earliest time we should schedule our return flight (international)?

    Ahoy, Linda!

The countdown to your 2018 Disney Cruise Line vacation is underway! Captain Mickey and his seafaring crew can't wait to welcome you aboard!

I know you are looking forward to diving in to all the plans for your magical voyage. And it sounds like you already have your ground transportation set, which means you'll have a seamless transition before and after your Disney Cruise. You'll be able to sit back and relax as you are whisked away to Port Canaveral on a comfortable motor coach. On embarkation morning, you can expect transportation from the Orlando International Airport to begin around 9:00 a.m. Since you are flying internationally, you'll want to plan time to claim your luggage and clear Customs and Immigration before you head over to Side B, Level 1(look for signs to Disney's Magical Express) to hop on your motor coach. The good news is that once you are cleared by Customs, your luggage can be returned to the main baggage area to be collected by a Disney Cruise Line representative and delivered directly to your stateroom. Isn't that super convenient?

Disney Cruise Line recommends all flights on debarkation day be scheduled after 11:30 a.m. I suggest an afternoon flight if you want to enjoy a relaxing breakfast onboard with your dining servers. There are two pre-assigned breakfast times on the morning of debarkation that are determined by your seating time at dinner. Main Seating Guests eat around 6:45 a.m. while Second Seating Guests eat around 8:00 a.m. All Guests are asked to be out of their staterooms by 8:00 a.m. and off the ship around 9:15 a.m.

Good luck with your plans, Linda! We hope you'll visit again as you think of more cruise questions.

    Have a magical day!
