Hi there, Debra! Welcome back to planDisney!
I have a hunch you’re sailing on the
Disney Wish, based on your arrival date and the questions you've already asked. If so, I adore the Disney Wish and am so excited for you! The best word that comes to my mind when I think of the Disney Wish is “splendor” because it’s so incredibly beautiful!
I would be happy to explain how to choose a
Port Arrival Time when completing your Online Check-In.
No, you do not have to choose a Port Arrival Time if you booked Ground Transportation with Disney Cruise Line, as well as a hotel stay in one of their recommended hotels. If you’ve booked a hotel stay at
Walt Disney World Resort or at Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport hotel with Disney Cruise Line, and have also booked Ground Transportation from either one, Disney Cruise Line has this information in your reservation. It all makes for a very seamless process. Therefore, when you complete your Online Check-In, you won’t have to choose a Port Arrival Time as one will be provided to you automatically by Disney Cruise Line. In my experience, it’s always been earlier in the afternoon when going this route, and it’s one of my favorite things about choosing the hotel and Ground Transportation options that Disney Cruise Line recommends.
When completing your Online Check-In, I also suggest having everything you need to answer the questions, such as
citizenship documentation, guest photos, pre- and post-cruise stay information, flight information, etc, right next to you. All of these questions will be asked, and I always find it’s easier to have them all in front of me, instead of scrambling around searching.
Debra, I hope I was able to offer clarification. I WISH you the most magical memories on board your cruise! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any other questions.
Seas the Adventure,
Rana
