Hi I have booked Disney tickets for a family of 6. One family member is unable to come, so I was wondering what the cancellation policy is. Our Disney tickets start from the 16th of August for 2 weeks.

    Hi Jayandra!

I'm so very sorry to hear that one of your family members won't be able to come! I'm certain they will be thoroughly missed by your family, and your family at Disney (characters and Cast Members alike) are going to miss them as well. :-(

If you're referring to August of this year, then you're in the "2 days to 29 days prior to guest arrival" cancellation policy. If you were cancelling the entire vacation package, that would be a $200 penalty. However, if it's just one of the family members, I would call Disney Guest Services at (407) 939-1936 and allow them to assist. I can't say for certain what, if any penalty will be assessed, but they'll be more than willing to help.

If you added the Travel Protection Plan along with your vacation package, there are certain conditions in which you or a family member can be be reimbursed if unable to attend. If the Travel Protection plan was added, cover the plan details to see what your options are.

Best of Luck to you, and have a magical time at Disney!
