Hoop De Doo Revue

Megan Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I have booked the Disney all star music resort as this was the only thing we could afford for our anniversary. However, upon reading I noticed some of the other all star resorts reviews some guests received one free service plan meal. Will I get this pleas

Cheers from across the pond, Megan! It's my honor and pleasure to welcome you back to planDisney. I have been known to snack, graze, and munch on my trips to Walt Disney World, so I am eminently qualified to answer your question about food and dining plans. Let's see what information we can uncover about your visit and determine if any special offers are available to you.

It looks like the Kids Eat Free offer is back for 2026! You'll receive a free Dining Plan for all kids ages 3 to 9 when you purchase a Dining Plan for each Guest aged 10+ on your booking that includes a hotel stay and theme park tickets. This is a fantastic value, especially if you have children who eat as voraciously as mine do! This is valid for stays in 2026 through December 31st.

Curious as to what's included in the Dining Plan? Each guest will receive a Resort Refillable Mug and the following for each night of your stay:
    • 1 Quick-Service meal
    • 1 Table-Service meal
    • 1 non-alcoholic/alcoholic drink per meal
    • 1 selected snack or drink
The reviews you're reading may be related to a promotion from last year, but it looks like that is not currently being offered for stays in 2026. I'd keep an eye on the Special Offers page to see if something similar comes out, and it would likely be an offer for a stay in 2027.

I know this probably wasn't the answer you were looking for, but there are ways to save on dining throughout your vacation. I typically eat breakfast in my room or on the go and save my dining dollars for a nicer quick service lunch or table service dinner. I'm also a big fan of buffets and all-you-care-to-enjoy meals since I feel like I can maximize the value by eating 2 or 3 (or 4) plates of food. One of my favorite experiences is the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. This dinner and a show includes favorites like fried chicken, ribs, and mashed potatoes, and guests ages 21+ can enjoy beer or sangria with their meal. It's a knee-slapping good time, and the whole family will be smiling, singing, and clapping along before the curtain closes!

Come back and see us at planDisney if there are additional questions we can help you with, Megan! I hope you have a great visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth.

    Stay magical,
    Scott
