Hiya Alan! Welcome to planDisney!
It's never too early to start planning for your next Walt Disney World holiday! With everything that goes into the planning process, you'll want to get as much of a head start as possible.
The
Disney Springs area hotels are a perfect choice to stay in during your trip. You are only steps away from a multitude of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Many of these are classified as Walt Disney World Official Hotels. In this case, you should be able to link them to your My Disney Experience account. To do so, you'll need to log in to your account and select "Resort Hotels" followed by "Link a Reservation." Once here, you'll enter the confirmation code you received upon booking. If you've reached this step and are having trouble, you may be entering an incorrect confirmation number.
If you did not use the
Walt Disney World Resort website to book your accommodations, you may not have received the Disney-specific confirmation code required to link to your account. I suggest contacting the hotel you plan to stay at and asking for the appropriate code to link to your My Disney Experience account. They should be able to provide you with the information you need. If you did book directly through Walt Disney World, you can always
call the Technical Support line and speak to a Cast Member for assistance. They will be able to troubleshoot your account and try to assist you in linking your hotel reservation.
Alan, if you get a chance to explore Disney Springs, I suggest stopping by
Chicken Guy! for a quick bite to eat. This is a go-to for my family and something that is consistent time and time again. They have a ton of different sauces to try that are sure to please a majority of Guests visiting.
I hope you have a magical holiday next year!
