We booked at a Disney resort but we have friends that have booked to stay at another hotel off of Disney property. Can we have guests come to visit us on the resort property during the day?

    Hi Dawn!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

One of the pleasures of staying at Walt Disney World Resort is visiting the other Disney Resort hotels.  I have my favourite hotel (Disney's Wilderness Lodge) where I usually stay, but I love to make dining reservations and also just enjoy soaking up the atmosphere of the other Disney Resort hotels.  They are all so different and the theming is outstanding.  Your friends will be welcome to come and visit you during your stay.  They will have to tell the Cast member on the gate the details of your name and possibly dates of your reservation.  The only charge for parking at a Disney Resort hotel is for overnight parking, so your friends will receive complimentary parking, for around 3 hours.  Dining and shopping is available for all guests (don't forget to make any Table-Service reservations if you need them - you can do this online or by using your My Disney Experience mobile app - up to 180 days in advance).  The only restriction would be using the Resort pools, as these are available only for Guests with reservations at that hotel.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, and keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official news and updates on any events that may be happening during your stay.
