We have booked Disney for 10 nights. The first 2 nights are room only. The last 8 are with the dining plan and park tickets. Do you know if we can use the park tickets on one of the first nights or do I need to wait to until after the first 2 days pls.

Hiya, Sandra! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel for help with your upcoming vacation! Staying on property and using a day or two to enjoy your resort is a fabulous, relaxing way to begin your vacation. I did this just last month with my family!
Depending on how you booked your package, you can activate your package tickets and MagicBands BEFORE your Magic Your Way Package begins. You can do as many as 14 days before your package check-in date (I’m supposing this is the 3rd night of your vacation). You’ll have to activate your tickets and MagicBands in person, at the ticket window at any of Walt Disney World’s 4 Theme Parks. Remember that Magic Your Way base tickets expire 14 days after first use, so pay attention to your specific policies. Since you are only staying 10 days, I have a feeling you’ll plan wisely and know which days to stay at the pools or enjoy Disney Springs!
Keep in mind that advance FastPass+ reservations will only be able to be made for your package dates (the latter 8 days). If you wish to make FastPass+ reservations for your first Resort Hotel stay (initial 2 nights), you will have to wait until AFTER you activate your tickets. You could hop on your My Disney Experience Mobile App after walking away from the ticket window, and get FastPass+ reservations for all your favorite rides. I know this might be a little bit of a bummer, but when you want to plan in advance, a FastPass+ reservation window will only be available for your package dates. Otherwise, those later 8 days can be planned as thoroughly as you like. FP+ reservations for rides like Flight of Passage or Splash Mountain can be hard to come by!
I hope you are able to enjoy your vacation on your own schedule! ~Lindsey P.
