Hi Samantha! Thanks for reaching out to us at planDisney.
I'm so sorry to hear that you may have to cancel your vacation to the
Walt Disney World Resort for this summer. While I really hope that you get to go, I completely understand that things come up and your plans might have to change. While I'm very familiar with the cancelation policy for Guests residing in the United States, I've been a little unclear about the policies for Guests traveling from the U.K...until today. I did a bit of research and found the information you are likely looking for. You're never too old to learn something new!
You can find the cancelation policy for bookings from the United Kingdom on the
Booking Terms & Conditions page. In fact, there is currently a handy PDF document detailing these policies that you can download. The fees and policies are going to be dependent on what type of package or reservation you booked. If you do not find cancelation information that applies to
you, I would recommend
contacting a friendly Cast Member at the resort who can give you information specific to
your booking!
If you
can make your vacation happen this summer, what an incredible summer it will be! While we don't know the specific opening date of
Tiana's Bayou Adventure in
Magic Kingdom Park, it's opening this summer and the
Disney Parks Blog and the
Disney Parks Instagram page have been cranking out exciting
detail after
detail to
get us ready! Plus, there's the summer opening of the
Country Bear Musical Jamboree and the introduction of a
brand-new stage show in EPCOT themed to Disney's Encanto. And top it all off, it was recently announced that the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will be
debuting on August 29, 2024, and depending on how long you are staying, you
may be there for the kickoff!
Samantha, if you're not able to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth this summer, it will be waiting and even more magical than ever when it's time for you to return.
I'm here if you have any other questions. The magic is calling,
Matt
