I booked My Disney Girls Perfectly Princess Tea Party for December 15th 2011. It starts at 10:30am at the Grand Floridian and we are staying at POP so Im wondering what is the best way to get there from our hotel and what time should we leave? Thanks!

    Hi Desiree,

How exciting that you are attending the Perfectly Princess Tea Party at the Grand Floridian; it is such a lovely resort and such a fun party!

When traveling from resort to resort, I allow at least an hour's worth of travel time, if not a bit more just to be safe (I'm a bit obsessive about this).  From Pop Century, you can take the Magic Kingdom bus to the park then transfer over to either the monorail or the water taxi that will take you to the Grand Floridian. Both of these are located directly in front of the Magic Kingdom entrance, so you can't miss them.  As you walk toward the park's security entrance, the boat launches are on the left  with signs indicating which boat is going where.  You'll see the monorail -- just make sure to take the resort monorail.  If you arrive by monorail, you'll enter on the second floor of the main building; the tea party is on the main floor of the lobby.  If you arrive by water taxi, you'll need to take a short walk through the grounds to the main building (there is a map nearby as you exit the water taxi or the boat's captain can point you in the right direction).

There are several stores in the lobby if you arrive early, so feel free to look around!  Have a wonderful time with your princess.  Please let us know if we can help again.
