My Ohana and I celebrated a milestone birthday on a
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Cruise not that long ago, and we had an absolute blast. I am sure this experience will be one of the core memories of your upcoming trip!
Reservations for some of the experiences in the
Enchanting Extras Collection, including the fireworks cruise, appear a little differently in My Disney Experience. Think of it as reserving one experience for your party (rather than individual seats, as with a dining reservation). Being a planner who loves an organized itinerary, I completely understand wanting to have all the names added. This can also be helpful for the rest of the travel party as they check their
My Disney Experience app throughout the trip. Though the reservation can't be modified to add names, you can create a note in My Disney Experience and share it with everyone in your group. This way, they can see the reservation information and any details they need to have on hand!
Adding a note can be done through the My Disney Experience tab on the
Walt Disney World website. (Personalized notes cannot currently be added through the app.) Select My Plans and Tickets from the drop-down menu. Scroll down to the Add More Plans drop-down and choose Notes. The Add Notes to My Plans Box will appear, and you will be able to fill in all the details of your family's fireworks cruise. You will also have the option to share this note with everyone in your travel party. Once you save the note, it will show up in My Disney Experience under plans for everyone you selected.
A few days before your cruise, you should receive an email that will ask for the number of guests in your party and if you are celebrating anything during your adventure. Celebration banners and decorations can be added to your boat, helping make the occasion even more memorable! If you don't receive your email, you can reach out to a Cast Member with
Tours and Recreation to confirm all the magical details.
