We booked a Disney Dream Cruise for June '12. Our room appears to be close to the elevators. We are concerned about any noise level near the elevators. Do you think we should be concerned or does the conveneience of being near the elevators outweigh it?

    Hi, Victor!

Congratulations on your booked cruise aboard the Disney Dream -- she is a spectacular ship, and I can't wait for you to have your turn to sail!

In January, our stateroom was situated near an elevator, and it never was an issue.  In fact, I liked the convenience of it. The elevators are tucked away a bit, and the stateroom doors are metal. Plus, there is a closet and a divided bathroom between the door and where the beds are in the stateroom. Therefore, noise was never a problem. I hope that relieves your worries.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
