We are booked on the Disney Dream in August and are trying to decide which seating to choose with the kids, DD's 7 & 10. Could you tell me what time the children would actually be eating by at second seating?

    Hi Richard,

On the Disney Dream, the Main Seating is at 5:45 p.m.; the Second seating is at 8:15 p.m.

I love Second Seating because I prefer to see the evening's show before dinner. You can definitely feed the kids at any of the counter service or buffets that are open if you don't think they'll last until 8:15. When my kids were younger I would get them a snack an hour before the show. That gave them that hour, the duration of the show, and the time in between the show and your dinner seating to get hungry again. Worked like a charm.    Another reason I like Second seating dining is because on port days, you won't have to cut your fun short just to rush back to get ready for dinner.

I hope this helps.  Please let me know if you have any other questions.  I'm always happy to help.  Have a magical trip!
