I just booked a Disney Cruise for 2016. My use year is December. I used 2015 and 2016 points. Could I have also used 2017 since the cruise is in 2016?

Hi Sahra! Congratulations on your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation. The absolute best thing about Disney Vacation Club is the freedom and flexibility to use your vacation points to have the vacation of your dreams! We used points to sail on the magnificent Disney Dream in 2012 and it was a dream come true.

The short answer to your question is no. For a big vacation like a cruise, you can borrow up to 100% of your allotted vacation points from the next succeeding use year to secure a reservation in the immediately preceding (current) use year. However, no more than three years of points can be combined at any one time.

There's a thorough explanation of how to manage your vacation points on the member site under the "My Membership" tab.

I hope that helps answer your question, and I wish you a magical and memorable voyage on Disney Cruise Line!
