Welcome to planDisney, M! Thanks for visiting us with your question.
It sounds like congratulations are in order! What wonderful news that you've welcomed a new member into your family. While some
modifications can be made to your sailing if you sign in under My Reservations on Disney Cruise Line, I do recommend that you
call Disney Cruise Line directly to see if you can add your little one to your reservation, especially as your sail date is quickly approaching. While your stateroom may be physically able to accommodate more guests, there are strict rules about the number of guests that can sail in each lifeboat assembly group. A Disney Cruise Line agent will be able to let you know if an additional guest in your stateroom is approved, and the cost that will be associated with adding another guest to your reservation.
Disney Cruise Line certainly makes
little ones and their parents feel like royalty aboard the ship. You can request a number of items to be delivered to your stateroom for your needs such as portable cribs, bottle warmers, and diaper disposal units. Little ones have access to high chairs in the main dining room and fresh pureed food is available upon request. You'll even find a handful of baby essentials available for purchase if you find that you need anything else while sailing. If you'd like to enjoy a night out, (I recommend dining at the adult-exclusive restaurant,
Palo) you'll find a wonderful
nursery onboard where your little one can be cared for while you have a relaxing evening. Reservations can be made in advance online or using the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.
I'm wishing you and your family a fantastic voyage. Happy sailing!
