Hi there. We have just booked a Disney Cruise and plan to add on 3 nights at WDW. In reading the cruise rules, no Nintendo DS's are allowed. We planned to take these to the airport/for flight etc., why can we not take them on board? What are our options?

    Hi Tracey,

This question is a first for me and I'll be honest when I tell you it gave me a bit a panic attack!  I know on our last cruise we had a Nitendo DS stowed away in our suitcase and I never even thought to check the prohibited items list regarding it's use.

So I dug into the list of prohibited items, and they are actually referring to the consoles that connect to the television (such as X-Box, Wii etc), not the portable hand-held games.  Whew!

So pack the DS and save your sanity during your travel days.  Have fun!
