Hi there, Laura!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited that you have decided to go on a Disney Cruise Line vacation. With so much excitement awaiting you onboard the Disney Wonder, I know this will be a vacation you won’t forget!
While I have yet to go on a
Baja cruise, I do look forward to one with my family next Spring. I look forward to sailing on the Pacific Coast because there is always beautiful weather there! While in the Caribbean and the Bahamas you have a hurricane season to contend with, there doesn’t seem to be much weather threats in the Pacific – especially during the springtime. In fact, when researching the weather for that time of year, I learned it is actually considered to be the best time to cruise along the Baja! I imagine you will have bright, sunny days with a breeze and possibly some cool breezes in the evenings. I always recommend packing a sweater for inside the ship as they tend to keep it cool for Guests, and the main dining rooms can get chilly. As far a movement onboard goes, I have found Disney Cruise Line ships to be excellent in regard to not feeling much!! I have been on some rough seas and the inside movement was minimal! I do always bring a pair of SeaBands in the event that I feel it necessary to wear. Another option is to get a prescription for a seasickness patch from your doctor if you are concerned about the movement. We have never needed to go this route, but you may want to do so as a precaution. But, with all the
fun and excitement going on onboard, I imagine you will be too busy to notice any major motion!
Please come back with any other planning questions you may have!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
