I booked my dinner reservations and didn’t include my one year old, now I can’t get a reservation for one more guest (I keep trying). What will happen if I get there with an extra guest?

    Hi Joni,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel for assistance planning your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

You made an honest (and common) mistake. Often parents are under the impression that since their infants will be in a high chair, they don't need to include them in the party count for Advance Dining Reservations. I encourage you to continue to try to add your little one to all of your meals. However, definitely don't cancel the bookings. When you arrive at the restaurants to check-in at the host / hostess stand, simply apologize and explain the error to them. I promise you, they see this multiple times a day. The challenge is that restaurants all have a maximum capacity due to fire codes. Additionally, the tables are varying sizes to accommodate different party sizes. Since your baby will be in a highchair, you need room at the table for him or her. While you may end up having to wait a little bit for a larger table, I'm confident that since you are only adding one person, they will be able to seat your family.

Please let us know if we can assist you further.

    Wishing you magical memories,

    Kaylene
