    We have booked dinner at Cape May for the 21st Oct. Will this be character dining?

    Hiya Pam! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!

    I'm excited about your upcoming holiday at the Walt Disney World Resort! Disney's Beach Club Resort is one of my favorite areas to visit on-site. The views from this area overlooking Crescent Lake and Disney's Boardwalk are absolutely stunning. Whether I am staying at this resort or not, I always make it a priority to visit this area during my trip.

    Cape May Cafe is a fantastic choice for dinner during your stay! There is a great variety on the buffet, not only for seafood lovers but for all Guests to enjoy! I've had the pleasure of eating here on a recent stay and was so impressed with the quality of food and level of service. And don't worry, they are still offering the Snow Crab Legs for an additional fee if this is one of your favorites.

    While characters are returning to this dining location starting October 4th, they will only be dining with Guests during breakfast. Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast will be returning with Minnie and her pals greeting Guests while they dine in their fun beach attire. Dinner will remain exactly how it is now, so I would suggest making a breakfast reservation if you are interested in the character meal. You can always just stick to dinner if you had your heart set on the seafood buffet!

    If you find your way over to Disney's Contemporary Resort, Chef Mickey's offers character dining for their dinner service. This all-you-care-to-eat, family-style meal includes appearances from Mickey, Minnie, and some of their favorite friends. They are all decked out in their chef attire and stop by each table to greet and take pictures. 

    Pam, you are visiting just in time to check out Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. This event will take place on select nights at the Magic Kingdom during your stay and is one of the most popular events at Walt Disney World. Special party tickets will need to be purchased for this event.
