Booked our dining for six way in advance. Now my sister and her baby want to join us(=8). I booked for 6 people including my baby. If we both hold our babies during the meal, we only need 6 chairs thus accomodating all of us. Do restaurants allow this?

    Hello Angie,

Always happy to see a fellow Ohioan here on the Moms Panel website.

The quickest answer to your question is yes. Both you and your sister can have your babies sit on your lap for the duration of your meal.

But I remember when my daughter was smaller, and that doesn't make for the most enjoyable of dinners. I suggest you call 407-WDW-DINE to see if the restaurant can accommodate an extra guest on your reservation. If they cannot, I would just let the Cast Member at the restaurant know when you check in that your sister will be joining your family for dinner. I am sure they will make every attempt possible to get you a larger table so that you and your family can sit comfortably. You just may have to wait a few minutes later than your reserved time.

Hope this helps. Enjoy your meal!
