Hey there, Colleen. Welcome to planDisney!
We're going to take a cue from
Mary Sanderson from
Hocus Pocus and form a "calming circle." And before someone screams, "I AM CALM," let's just join hands, move around slowly in a circle, and think soothing thoughts about rabid bats, the Black Death...and Mummy's scorpion pie. Is this working? No? Okay, well, let's answer your question, and hopefully, that will do the trick.
The simplest solution is to modify your dining reservation to a little earlier to take away any worry or doubt. But if you cannot, don't worry too much. Currently, you can check into your reservation through the
My Disney Experience mobile app up to 20 minutes earlier than your dining time. While this does not guarantee you'll get seated earlier, it helps keep things on track. Also, you can always explain to your server the situation, and they will do their best to get you in and out. You can even request the check be brought to you when your main courses arrive. This way, the server can process your payment while you enjoy your meal, and then once you're done, you can simply say thank you and make your way to your dessert party! While you'll want to arrive 60 minutes before the performance of the
nighttime spectacular to enjoy the full experience, if you don't arrive exactly at that time, you should be fine. This is usually so that you can get seated and settled with enough time to enjoy the fireworks... and enjoy the experience for as long as possible. Please note that this experience has a 24-hour cancellation policy at this time, which means that you will be charged the full price of the experience if you do not show up at all (or don't cancel at least 24 hours prior).
There are so many experiences from the
Enchanting Extras Collection that are unique and some of the most memorable times of a vacation to the
Walt Disney World Resort. And while I've done a few, my bucket list is still full of them. I'm hoping to check off the
Starlight Safari at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge this November. I have already done
Savor the Savanna at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, which I highly recommend. It's a one-of-a-kind experience in a special safari vehicle where you get some behind-the-scenes views and a delicious spread of food at an exclusive boma (or enclosure) on the savanna at the park. But my favorite so far has got to be the
Keys to the Kingdom Tour at
Magic Kingdom Park. Talk about behind-the-scenes and a memorable experience. I'll be talking about that one for years to come!
Colleen, enjoy your seats and your sweets while watching my favorite nighttime spectacular,
Happily Ever After.
Please reach out again with any other questions!
The story comes alive when we look inside,
