I have booked the dessert party with plaza garden view at MK. I've heard great things about OUAT and HEA. Do they run one after another so that I will be able to view them both from the reserved viewing section?

    Hi Laura ~

Happily Ever After is BEYOND amazing! It takes the WOW factor to a whole other level! You will be so happy that you booked the Fireworks Dessert Party to see this spectacular! You get a fantastic view of Cinderella Castle without having to seek out a good spot hours before the show. Their desserts are so yummy and each one of them has its own back story. Yet more proof that Disney goes above and beyond and never leaves out any details.

I actually did the Fireworks Dessert Party with Terrace Viewing last night and spoke with a Cast Member there about the differences between the two viewing locations (Plaza v. Terrace). Here is what I learned and observed. Happily Ever After was presented at 9:00 p.m. and Once Upon A Time was at 9:45 p.m. Happily Ever After fireworks is 18 minutes long so there was approximately 25 minutes between the two of them. As soon as Happily Ever After is over, the Cast Members at the entrance to the Plaza viewing area will drop the ropes and anyone can enter or leave that area. If you would like, you are more than welcome to stay in that area to view Once Upon a Time. There were a lot of Guests who headed out of the park as soon as Happily Ever After was over because the Magic Kingdom closed at 10:00 p.m.

The schedules for Happily Ever After, Once Upon A Time, and park hours vary. I would recommend checking the times on the My Disney Experience mobile app. You can also pick up a printed Times Guide as you enter the Magic Kingdom. Once you know the schedule for the night you are visiting, you can decide if you want to remain in the Plaza viewing area. If there isn't a lot of time between them, I would stay put and avoid the crowd that is exiting the park.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
