Aloha, Olivia! Welcome to planDisney and Mahalo for stopping by with such a great question.
The countdown to your most magical adventure at the Most Magical Place on Earth is ON! And with a stay at
Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows?! Pure pixie dust. The Polynesian, with its tropical vibes, incredible pools, fantastic dining (DOLE Whip, please!) and location right in the middle of the magic, is one of my very favorite Resorts, and I couldn't be more excited for you. Now, let's chat about your view!
If you booked a Deluxe Studio - Preferred View in one of the longhouses, you could have a view of the lush landscaping and Seven Seas Lagoon! The new "Preferred View" category used to be named "Lake View," but it was changed since not every room can view the water directly. I recently stayed in a Deluxe Studio - Preferred View on the third floor of the Moorea Longhouse, and we had a wonderful view of Cinderella Castle across Seven Seas Lagoon. While I think all the views in this room category are beautiful, I recommend requesting a higher floor for the most magical view. Just keep in mind that requests are based on availability and not guaranteed.
If you booked a Studio in the brand-new Island Tower, your Preferred View could be of the pool or nearby golf course. Depending on which side of the Resort your room is located and which floor you're on, you could even get a partial view of Seven Seas Lagoon. But no matter where your room is located or what view you have, you are going to absolutely
love your magical home away from home.
One of my favorite things about staying at the Polynesian is how easy it is to get to and from Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. You can take the monorail or boat to Magic Kingdom, and you can take the short, scenic walking path to the Transportation and Ticket Center to hop the monorail right over to EPCOT. It makes midday breaks in the awesome pools a tropical breeze! Enjoy!
I hope this was helpful, Olivia, and I hope you have an unforgettable time! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have. We are 'ohana now!
'Ohana means family,
