    We are booked on a DCL to Alaska (so excited!); it is our first cruise. A quick question about shore excursions and dining.If we have the early dining time for supper (6pm) we will be back to the ship in time ifwe are on an excursion?

    Congratulations on your first cruise -- and it's aboard Disney Cruise Line to Alaska? Wow, you really know how to go first class!

    As far as timing Port Adventures with your evening dining plans, you'll simply want to ask lots of detailed questions when you book or read all of the bullet points listed online. It's really going to depend on which shore excursion you choose. Disney does a great job of working with the shore excursion operators and timing onboard activities accordingly. Therefore, it shouldn't be an issue. Yet, it never hurts to ask all the right questions before you book. Of course, if there is a conflict, Disney Cruise Line may adjust your dining time or work with you to find a suitable solution. With all the dining and shore excursion choices available on a long cruise like the Alaskan ones, I think everything will work out to your delight!
