Just booked 10 days at our home resort AKL for July/Aug! In your DVC experience how likely would it be to switch this resv. to BLT or BC at the 7 month mark? Thanks!

Hi Rebecca, Thank you so much for your question! 10 days at Walt Disney World is a fabulous way to spend your summer. I have found that if you call right at your seven month window, you will most likely be able to switch resorts. You may not get it for the whole 10 days, and I would recommend splitting your stay if you can get Bay Lake Towers or the Beach Club Villas. This will give you actually two different vacations because all of the resorts are so different. This summer, I was able to stay at the Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge and the Boardwalk Villas which was great. You will need to call rather than do this online as the Cast Member will need to transfer the reservation. Set your alarm and call first thing in the morning right at your seventh month window.
