Booked 10days at AOA in May2017 with 7 days parkhopper. Not sure what days we will go to parks vs staying at hotel for day. Any suggestions on how to book fastpasses for this situation? Thx!

    Hi Beth,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you have a fabulous vacation planned in May! I am happy to share with you a strategy my family has used in the past in similar situations.

Since you are traveling a distance, I suggest that you spend a day at the resort on the day of your arrival and the day of your departure. Doing so will give your family time to recover from traveling when you arrive and to relax before traveling on the day you depart. We have also enjoyed spending a day at the resort in the middle of our vacation. Once I decide which days we are staying at the resort, I make our Dining Reservations for those days at venues outside of the parks. Once I know our park days, I make dining reservations at restaurants in the parks we will visit. Then I make Fast Pass+ reservations for our park days!

Remember that you can book three Fast Passes in advance for a single park for each day that you have theme park admission. Since you have the Park Hopper, once you use those first three Fast Passes, you may book Additional Fast Passes (one at a time) at the second park you plan to visit.

Art of Animation is such a fun resort! Hopefully, you have reviewed the Recreational Activities available at Art of Animation. On your resort days, you could go to the pool, rent bikes, or enjoy the walking trail. I would also suggest that you spend some time at Disney Springs. My family loves the shopping and the food!

    Happy Planning!
