    just booked 10/2-10/10!!! 286 days!!! Will we be able to attend any Christmas themed events? So excited!

    Yeah Laurie! Only 286 days until the fun begins.

    October is great time to visit Walt Disney World Resort for many reasons, but, alas, seeing Christmas decorations or attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is not one of them. Traditionally these Christmas events do not start until November.  You might want to consider Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party held select nights in the Magic Kingdom during September and October. Dress up in a spectacular costume, trick or treat for candy, watch Happy HalloWishes fireworks, and see Mickey's "Boo-to-You" parade during this event.
