I have booked a 7day/6night stay at AKL in Feb. 2011. This will be my boyfriends 1st time, and we are both 62 years young....we will be celebrating his 63rd birthday. .Any suggestions for a romantic & restful time?

Hi, Margaret!   Your special vacation is off to a great start with your reservation at Animal Kingdom Lodge!   This is such a lovely and peaceful location.   Enjoy the views of the beautiful Savannah, and just taking time to relax in the lobby is a wonderful experience!

For a fantastic meal, make a dining reservation at Jiko, right at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  The food and service are top notch.   They will even suggest African wines to accompany your meal.  Another great dining location is the California Grill.  The views of the Magic Kingdom are awesome, with equally fine dining.   To make Advance Dining Reservations, call (407)WDW-DINE.

Other ideas for you include a trip to the spa, a backstage tour, a round of golf, or a fireworks cruise.  Click HERE for many great ideas.

I hope you both have a wonderful and romantic vacation in Walt Disney World and Let the Memories Begin!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
