I booked a 6-day/5-night Disneyland Hotel package with 5-day Park Hopper tickets through Costco for our 6 yo's 1st visit. Can I add tickets for one more day in the parks to the package without purchasing separate full-price park tickets?

Hey there Amy, welcome to planDisney!  How exciting that you're planning such a magical trip, make sure to stop by City Hall in Disneyland Park or Guest Services in Disney California Adventure Park to pickup a complimentary "First Visit" button for your little Mouseketeer!

At the current time, you can only purchase theme park tickets ranging from 1 to 5 days.  If you are looking to add one more day to visit the theme parks, you would need to purchase a separate 1-Day theme park ticket.  Even though you cannot purchase a 6-Day theme park ticket, I do have some recommendations for you!

My first recommendation is to build in a rest day instead of visiting the theme parks 6 days in a row.  As much as I think I could visit Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park every single day, my feet might say otherwise!  During our trip last year, we did 3 days of theme parks in a row, then took a day off to rest and relax before the final 2 days.  We like to sleep in, the kids love to swim and relax at the pool, and you could even do a character dining experience at Goofy's Kitchen or Storytellers Cafe to still get some magic in your day!  We have found that a rest day in between multiple park days is much needed.

However, I also totally understand wanting to take advantage of being at the theme parks every minute you can during your trip!  If you decide to add on that extra day, I recommend looking at the 1-Day ticket prices during your trip dates, and purchasing the least expensive day to help save some money, or you could decide to not add on the Park Hopper option for that 1-Day ticket as well to save on costs.

I'm not sure when your trip is planned for, but there is also a fantastic Kids Summer Ticket Offer if your trip dates fall between May 22 and September 7, 2026.  There are limited theme park reservations for this specific ticket offer, I would reference the theme park reservation availability calendar during your planning to check availability for your vacation before booking.

I hope these tips and recommendations are helpful for you, Amy!  If you think of any questions we can help with as your plans come together, please come back to planDisney and ask.

    Have a magical day,
    Melissa
