Ahoy, Nicole!
What an amazing way to kick off the holiday season - with a
Very Merrytime sailing on the
Disney Magic! You'll be experiencing all the wonder of a magical holiday sailing, with stops at some fantastic ports: Tortola, St. Kitts, and San Juan. I'm so excited for you - what an incredible Disney Cruise Line vacation you have to look forward to.
No need to worry,
Pirate Night is a featured celebration on most Disney Cruise Line itineraries, and your Very Merrytime Cruise is no exception. On Pirate Night, you'll enjoy an awesome Pirate-themed dinner, as well as a swashbuckling Deck Party -
Pirates IN the Caribbean. The big finale of your evening is Buccaneer Blast - a fireworks show over the open sea. It's so cool to see the firework bursts reflected in the ocean water during this one-of-a-kind display. Throughout the evening, there will be lots of Character Greetings, with your favorite Disney Characters dressed in their pirate best! There will also be other pirate-themed activities, including crafts, trivia, and more.
On Pirate Night, the whole ship gets in the spirit, and you'll see pirate costumes from simple to fancy. If you don't happen to own a treasure chest full of puffy shirts and waistcoats, no worries, there are lots of pirate items available in the onboard shops! My family has a "minimalist pirate" style, as we typically just dress in black and throw on some eye patches and bandanas. That being said, don't be surprised when you see some guests really go all out with some arrrrrrgh-mazing pirate costumes. It's such a fun night, and I hope you enjoy it as much as my family does!
Thanks for stopping by - have a magical day! - Diane W.
