Happy Holidays, Megan!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question! I'm so happy to hear you'll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort in December - it'll be here before you know it.
Oh, what fun you’ll have at
Magic Kingdom Park! Since you’ve booked your visit for a day when there’s no
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, you can jingle all the way through the park during regular hours. Without the party in the evening, the park is open to all guests all day, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the holiday magic. Make sure to
check the park hours for your specific date, as Magic Kingdom typically stays open late into the night during the holiday season, letting you enjoy every moment.
Even without the Christmas party, Magic Kingdom is decked out in its holiday best! As you walk down Main Street, U.S.A., you’ll be greeted with festive garlands, wreaths, and the gorgeous giant Christmas tree that brings the holiday spirit to life. It’s the perfect backdrop for those holiday photos - smile and say “candy cane!”
On the top of my “to-do” list during the holiday season is to experience
Jungle Cruise’s transformation into the Jingle Cruise, complete with holiday-themed decor and festive jokes from the skippers. It’s a holly jolly way to enjoy a classic Disney attraction with a seasonal twist!
Did someone say “seasonal snacks”? Throughout the park, you’ll find holiday-themed treats that are sure to make your taste buds sing fa-la-la-la-la. From specialty churros to gingerbread Mickey cookies, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Foodies like me stay up-to-date with the latest information about special holiday treats by keeping an eye on the
“Eats” section on the Disney Parks Blog!
Don’t forget to check out the holiday merchandise available at the shops throughout the park. From holiday sweaters to a large selection of fun ornaments, you can find the perfect keepsake to remember your Christmas visit. It’s the most wonderful time of the year for shopping, after all!
So, grab your Santa hat (or your Mickey ears!) and get ready to rock around the Christmas tree all day long at Magic Kingdom. You’re sure to find plenty of Disney magic to make your holiday season bright.
Have yourself a merry little Christmas at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
