Hello to you, Heidi! Welcome aboard planDisney. I'm so happy that you thought to ask us your question as you prepare for your voyage this fall!
It's not every day that you get to be on the
Disney Fantasy, especially for 8-nights! Add the fact that it's a special
Halloween on the High Seas Disney Cruise and you can label me as totally jealous. I hope you have a wonderful time on the Disney Fantasy with the not-too-spooky decor and frightfully fun festivities.
I understand why you would like to pair your time at sea with Captain Mickey with some time at the Walt Disney World Resort, especially as Walt Disney World is celebrating a fabulous
50 years of magic. When you purchase
tickets for Walt Disney World, they are subject to a window of usage based on the first day that you enter a theme park. For example, if you purchase 3-day tickets, you must use them within a period of five days. The dates do not have to be consecutive, but they will expire five days after you use the first day of your ticket. Due to the length of your cruise, you will need to purchase tickets separately for the number of days you would like to visit before your cruise, and again for the visit after your cruise.
What's the best way to travel between a
Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel and
Port Canaveral? Via a comfortable and air-conditioned Disney Cruise Line bus of course! You can
add ground transportation to your Disney Cruise Line reservation by
contacting Disney Cruise Line directly. Ground transportation can also be arranged directly to the Orlando airport if that better suits your travel needs.
I hope I've pointed your compass in the correct direction as you chart your course for adventure with the Disney Cruise Line! Please sail our way again if you have any questions about either your time at the Walt Disney World Resort or your time at sea! Our panel is always happy to help.
Happy Planning,
Adrianna
