Welcome back to
planDisney, Amanda!
Thanks for sending another great question our way. I'd be happy to assist you with your ticket and reservation inquiry.
When you purchased a one-day
theme park ticket, you specified both a theme park and a date for your visit, securing your spot without a
theme park reservation. It sounds like you need to change your selected theme park, so I'll walk you through those steps.
If you're using the
My Disney Experience mobile app, tap the three parallel lines in the bottom right corner of the home screen to bring up the welcome screen. Now click "Tickets and Passes," where you should see your recently purchased ticket. Under the ticket, there will be an option to change your ticket; click there next. You can change the date, number of days, or ticket type on the next screen. To modify your chosen theme park, change the ticket type and pay any associated difference in price.
On the web version, use the My Disney Experience drop-down menu and click on "My Plans," then scroll down to select the tab for "Tickets, Passes, & Memory Maker." Find your ticket, click "Change Ticket," and follow the above steps.
You are good to go once your ticket is assigned to your preferred theme park! Best wishes for a memorable visit, Amanda! If
EPCOT is on your itinerary, let your creative side shine at the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. Are you visiting
Magic Kingdom Park? Remember to request to join the
virtual queue for
TRON Lightcycle/Run at 7 AM or 1 PM! I recommend pre-selecting your party a few minutes before the virtual queue opens. No matter where your adventure takes you, magic and memories await, and I hope you have the best day ever. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question, and we'll see ya real soon!
