I have booked for my daughter’s 1st birthday in February. She is in love with Mickey Mouse so I wanted to book a characters dining breakfast experience for her. However it is fully booked, do more spaces become available?

Hey there, hi there, Annie! Welcome to planDisney. I love hearing that you will be celebrating your daughter's first birthday at Disneyland Resort. That is so special!

Mickey Mouse is easy to admire and I think a character dining experience is the perfect way to celebrate! There are a few different character dining options throughout Disneyland Resort, but to see Mickey, you will want to book a breakfast or brunch at Storytellers Cafe located at Disney's Grand Californian Resort & Spa. I took a look at dining availability and at the time of writing this, I see quite a few morning reservations on your desired date. You will look at Storyteller's Cafe, but when you go to book you will see it's Mickey's Tales of Adventure Character Breakfast at Storytellers Cafe. Of course, that could greatly depend on your party size. If you can't find a reservation for your party size, I recommend that you just keep looking. Guests are constantly changing plans and you may find something. You are always welcome to show up to Storytellers and see if they have any same-day reservations as well.

Now a first birthday is definitely a reason to celebrate, so don't forget to grab your daughter a complimentary "I'm Celebrating" pin at City Hall on your way into the parks, so everyone can celebrate her and it makes for a great memento to add to the photo album. Be sure to go check out ToonTown and let her get her wiggles out, there you will also have a chance to see Mickey at Mickey's House!

Annie, thanks so much for stopping by! If you need any other celebration tips, be sure to hurry back and ask us more. See you real soon!
