Hi, Brian! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you sailed to us with your question.
When it comes time to say goodbye to Mickey and the gang as you disembark your magical Disney Cruise, it's really just going to be a "See you real soon!" as you head to Walt Disney World. That's my favorite way to end a Disney Cruise! When you book a
ground transfer from Port Canaveral, you have the choice between a transfer to the airport or to a
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. You will disembark the ship and be directed to the bus that will take you to your destination. The buses begin to leave the port as early as 9:00 a.m.
Transfers to the airport will go straight to the airport. Ground transfers to Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotels will likely share a bus between two or three nearby resorts. I prefer to book ground transfers with Disney for the ease and simplicity of it all. When you arrive at your resort hotel, you can check your luggage with bell services if your room is not yet ready and head straight to the parks. It is pretty magical!
I can't wait for you to step aboard the
Disney Wish and enjoy the splendor of the Grand Hall and the countless details there are to discover throughout the ship. I know there will be so much to do onboard, but I highly encourage you to take some time to explore the beauty of the Wish. There is an interactive game onboard, Disney Uncharted Adventure, that will have you visiting spaces all over the ship as you help Captain Minnie on a very important quest. You can access the game using the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.
Brian, please sail back to us here at planDisney if you have more questions. My pals and I would love to point your compass toward oceans of fun during your sailing!
Happy Planning!
