Ahoy, Vanessa!
It is almost time to set sail on your Disney Cruise Line vacation. The next few weeks will be filled with excitement as you count down to embarkation day. It sounds like you've completed your pre-cruise checklist, which I know feels good!
Vanessa, there are a few upgrade options available if your sailing has availability and your booking is eligible. First, log in to your reservation on the Disney Cruise Line website and select "Modify or Cancel Reservation" to see what
stateroom categories are available. You can also
call Disney Cruise Line at 1(800) 951-3532 to speak to an agent about a possible upgrade. They are ready to take your call Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 am to 8:00 pm EST. Upgrading online or via the phone can be done up to three days before setting sail. Some Guests wait until embarkation day to try for an upgrade, but again, availability could be limited. The process works by completing check-in at the port with a Cast Member and then getting in an upgrade line once you are in the waiting area of the cruise terminal. I've had success with this method before and found the change was seamless. My luggage arrived outside my new stateroom door without issue, and everything reflected my new room number in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.
Another tip I want to mention is booking a
future cruise or a placeholder in the Disney Navigator app before disembarkation. I like to book this on the last day of our sailing, so I have 24 months from that day to take my future voyage with Disney Cruise Line. It makes leaving the ship a little easier, and the deposit is fully refundable. You also receive 10% off that future cruise (some categories and blackout dates apply).
Best of luck on your upgrade, Vanessa! If you have any other last-minute questions, we'd love to help!
