Ahoy, Jade!
I'm excited to hear you're counting down the days until your Disney Cruise Line vacation - you'll be making memories with your little girl that she will treasure forever.
I haven't personally sailed on one of Disney Cruise Line's
Marvel Day at Sea sailings, so I turned to my Moms Panel friend Tania, an expert on all things Marvel. She and her family just returned from the five-night Marvel cruise from Miami. Once she finished gushing about Captain America, she gave me all the details about this Marvel-ous Disney Cruise itinerary.
While your sailing will have one day dedicated to celebrating Marvel's mightiest heroes, every other day will be filled with all the regular features and events that guests have grown to love. Yo-Ho, Yo-Ho, you'll still get to enjoy all the offerings of Pirate Night, including the Buccaneer Blast fireworks. Pirate Night is a ton of swashbuckling fun, with an awesome deck party and a pirate-themed dinner - it's arrrgh-mazing!
No need to worry - your daughter will still have plenty of opportunities to meet all of her favorite Disney Princesses! When it's time to book your Onboard Activities, you'll be able to select a time to attend a Princess Gathering, held in the Lobby Atrium. This event is very popular, and you'll need a (free) ticket to reserve a spot in line. If you're unable to reserve this event before your sailing, I encourage you to stop by Guest Services on embarkation day to check for availability. There will also be other opportunities to greet Disney royalty throughout your sailing!
Moms Panel tip from Tania: If you're not into Marvel, there should be shorter lines and crowds around the ship on Marvel Day at Sea while all the Marvel fans are busy snapping photos with Spider-Man, Iron Man, and of course, Captain America (swoon!).
Hope this helps! Have a magical day! - Diane W.
