Just booked our cruise for May 2012 and so excited. My daughter is 10, but will be turning 11 in July. How strict are the policies about the ages for the Tween room, the Edge?

    Hi, Chris!

As long as your tween princess is within a couple of months of her 11th birthday, she is welcome to enjoy Edge.  In fact, she can actually be registered for both areas and come and go in each as she pleases -- talk about the best of both worlds!  (I think even Hannah Montana might be jealous!)

My son experienced this back-and-forth between Disney's Oceaneer Club/Lab and Edge when we were on the Disney Dream last spring. He was all over the ship so much that we could keep track of our teenagers better than we could him.  In fact, we ended up giving a Wave Phone to my almost 11-year-old so that he could keep us informed of where he was playing.

I hope this helps you plan and gets you even more excited about your upcoming Disney cruise. Please let me know if I can answer any more questions for you. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation.

    Bon voyage!
