Hi Sandra!
It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you to planDisney! It’s great to have you onboard as we proudly present...your answer. Especially when we get to talk about Disney Cruise Line’s unique
rotational dining system.
You might be wondering just how rotational dining works. Picture this: your service team will travel with you to a new dining room each night and will continue to be aware of all your preferences and dietary restrictions. They even become so intuitive about your wishes that you may find them bringing what you like without even having to ask!
If you are assigned Second Seating but want Main Seating, go ahead and contact Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 to request the earlier seating or to be placed on a waitlist. Then you can check under
My Reservations online before you leave home to see if there's been a change to your assigned time.
If it isn’t changed prior to when you set sail, then I recommend once you board the ship, check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to see where onboard they are taking changes to dining requests. My guess is that by next June, they will be back to this method of receiving dining requests in person. The Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will tell you exactly where to go (typically one of the lounges or main dining rooms). Cast Members will let you know if they can accommodate your party changing to a different seating.
“Be our guest” and stop back by planDisney if you’d like to chat more about Disney Cruise Line. I'm wishing you “adventure in the great wide somewhere” during your upcoming sailing, Sandra!
Bon Voyage and Bon Appétit!
Sherry
