I booked a cruise on the Dream and am now concerned about my room choice Will it be noisy being in the back of the ship?

    Ahoy Kelly –
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel – we are so glad to have you with us! I understand your concerns about noise.  Without your room number, I cannot make any specific recommendations, but I am happy to give some general help. My crew has stayed in many different decks and locations (aft, forward, midship) and we have our general preferred locations based on experience. We really have not encountered any problems with noise on our numerous journeys with Disney Cruise Line. We have found that we prefer inside staterooms that are behind the elevators when on the Dream. I think those are the quietest and coziest rooms on any ship (but that is my opinion). In general, rooms close to congregating areas may experience some problems (laundry areas, near elevators) but we have not noticed any issues with noise when we tried those areas either. If you are significantly concerned, please call Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 and speak with a cast member about changing your room. Kelly, we hope you can rest easy with your choice and feel free to respond back with your room number if you need further help.
