We booked a cruise on the Disney Wonder in December. I know there will be a lot of photographs taken while on board. Is there a photo card like they offer at WDW?

    Hi Michelle -

December is an awesome time to sail on the Disney Cruise. You're in for a special treat as you join Captain Mickey on a Very Merrytime Cruise out on the high seas! The ship will be beautifully decorated with a mega ton of holiday touches all over - you will absolutely want to take as much pictures as you can. Even the characters on board will be dressed in their holiday best!

The Disney Cruise Line does have a Photography package as well. It is separate from what they have at the Disney Parks. While on board, Shutters, will be the place to check out your prints. They will also provide various photo packages that you can purchase while on board. My family and I always take advantage of the professional photographers on board. All your photos will be attached to your stateroom, and all you have to do is show your Key to the World Card (your stateroom card) for the photos to be in your account. In the evenings, you'll get a chance to take signature Disney Cruise photos with special backdrops that are so picture perfect. It's a great time to take those special family photos for holiday cards for friends and family. The pictures are excellent and can even be printed with special Disney Cruise borders. There are also a number of Disney Photographers around the ship taking shots - at the restaurants & youth clubs... even on Castaway Cay!

You can purchase a CD that will include all the photos that you and your family take for the duration of the cruise. You can even take all the prints. It was around $349 for the photo CD and another $50 for all the prints. Or, you can pick and choose photos at a specific cost per print. My kids have a habit of taking loads of pictures with friends they meet on the cruise - there have been a few wacky ones, and they make great mementos!

Wishing you an awesome holiday cruise, Michelle!
