Hi, Just booked a cruise on the Disney Magic for June 2012 out of NYC. There will be 10 of us going with 4 kids. My nephew will have just turned 11 2 months prior. Do you know if they can make an exception for him to join the 10yo in the Oceaneer Club?

    Hi Kristen,

While Disney Cruise Line issues age recommendations for Youth Activities in the Oceaneer Club (3-10) and Lab (3-10), children are welcome to join activities based on interest rather than age. This is a new policy to youth activities aboard the Disney ships so that siblings and friends can play together!

The Oceaneer Quest area is geared for kids ages 11-13.

However, kids can play in the Club and Lab without age restrictions.

Therefore, your nephew should look forward to spending time with his 10 year old friend in the Oceaneer Lab!

Happy cruising. The sailing out of New York City will be an exciting voyage!
